ABOUT
I am a plein air painter from Arcata, CA. Like many landscape painters, my art journey began with the simple yet profound observation of the lush and unique Humboldt landscape. From there, I developed an art practice centered on capturing an authentic feeling of kinship with the land. After a decade in Santa Cruz and a recent move to New York, I’ve begun transposing my deep appreciation for coastal California into the historic woods and waterways of the Hudson Valley region. I would be honored to have you follow along with my artistic development.
